Competitive Benchmark QuickStart Guide

In this guide, we will help you understand what is available with Competitive Benchmark and how you can use this information to make data-driven decisions for your business.

SPEND OVERVIEW

Competitive Benchmark

Click the Competitive Benchmark icon found in the left navigation.

 

 

Filter Locations

Choose a single location from the location selector tool at the top of the screen. Click Apply.

 

 

View Data by Month

Use the date selector to choose the desired month and click Apply.

 

Average Ticket

View your average ticket amount and compare it to that of your competitors.

 

View your positive or negative trends with MoM (this month compared to last month) and YoY (the selected month compared to the same month the previous year) indicators.

 

 

Average Per Customer Spend

Compare your average per customer spend amount with that of your competitors.

 

The MoM and YoY percentages give you the same trend indicators as Average Ticket.

 

 

Total Spend Breakdown by Day of Week

See the breakdown of customer spend at your location by each day of the week. And, get a side-by-side breakdown of your competitors as well.

 

Average Ticket Over Time 

Review your average ticket over each of the last six months, and compare against that of your competitors.

 

 

BEHAVIOR OVERVIEW

 

Average Transaction Timings

See when transactions typically occur throughout a business day and compare customer behavior for your location to that of your competitors.

 

Average Visits Per Customer

See how many times an average customer visits your location and your competitors’ locations over each of the last six months.
