Welcome to Ovation! Logging in and getting started takes just a few brief moments. Allow ALL Permissions when prompted. You will be prompted for: Allow Ovation POS to make and manage phone calls Allow Ovation POS to access this device’s location Allow Ovation POS to record Audio Use the credentials in your Welcome email to complete the initial login.
The Add Tip and Signature Screens are two additional screens that appear during the Checkout Process, letting your customers add a tip and sign for their Sale with the touch of a finger. Once you have added Items to a Sale on the Current Sale Screen, and selected the Checkout Button, you begin the Checkout Process on the Payment Method Screen. On the Payment Method Screen, if the customer chooses to pay with a credit or debit card, and you have the Tip and Signature Screensenabled, these additional screens will appear before the transaction is finalized.
The Register Settings Screen can be accessed by pressing the Register Settings Button at the bottom of the Home Screen. This screen allows you to add, connect, and configure various devices with your Register app.

The Quarantine Screen on the Completed Orders Tab holds Orders that could not be properly processed at the time of payment. These Orders are stored locally until you can upload all of the Orders in the Quarantine so they can be processed.
The Orders button on the Home Screen directs you to the Orders Screen where a user can View, Checkout, and Print Checks for Held Orders. The Held Orders are placed from another register running the Register App.
To maintain the security of the Register and prevent unwanted usage, The Register can be configured to allow you to lock the app and to unlock it again by providing a PIN.
Once you have logged in, you will be directed to the Home Screen. Here you can see basic information about your register and take various actions.
The Completed Orders Tab is accessed by selecting the History button located on the Home Screen and provides detailed information about your Orders. Within your Completed Orders Tab you can view completed Orders and Orders that require additional attention. You can also take actions with regard to individual Orders like, print receipts, send email receipts, and issue refunds.
To close your Register, select Management from the Home Screen, then select the End of Day Tab. The End of Day Tab allows you to count cash collected, identify cash shortages or overages, review summaries for tender types – Cash, Credit Card, Debit Card, and Gift Certificates – Adjust Tips, and print your Z-Report.
The checkout process completes a transaction for an order and allows you to begin serving your next customer. You can reach the checkout process in one of two ways. When compiling an order in the Current Orders tab, once you have finished selecting items for an order and tap the Checkout button at the bottom of the screen, you will then begin the checkout process. You can also start the checkout process by selecting the Checkout button at the bottom of the Cart Viewer.
